How to remove and reinstall the front bumper on 2001 Volkswagen Cabrio?

In order to remove the bumper, use the parking brake, jack up the car and prop it. Loose radiator grille lugs, fasteners on the wheelarch liners and screws. Unscrew eight retaining bolts, unscrew wiring and remove the bumper. Installation is the reverse of the process and should be engaged properly.
