How to remove and install Side View Mirrors on 2003 Volkswagen Passat?

In order to take away the interior mirror, push it down at an angle, and have the wiring disconnected in case it is automatic. To install, align and turn it to lock. Regarding the outside, take off the door trim, the electrical connector, and the mirror. The opposite of removal is installation.
