How to remove and install the Mass Air Flow Sensor on 2017 Volkswagen Jetta?

To remove the engine cover, accessing the MAF sensor on the air filter housing lid, 2018 and subsequent models with 1.4L engines. Unscrew the MAF, sure disconnect the electrical connector and pull it out. The opposite of removal is installation.
