  • Q: How to re-learn several systems after disconnecting the battery related to the Ignition Lock Cylinder and Ignition Switch on 2019 Volkswagen GTI?
    A: In order to re-learn the systems when you have disconnected the battery, take off covers of steering column, wheel, and switch assembly. In the case of the lock cylinder, make sure the key is turned on then disconnect the immobilizer coil, and take it out with a paper clip. Re-fit by positioning and clicking into position. Repeat the same with the ignition switch.
