    A:
    In case the battery is removed, a number of systems will be required to be re-learned before they can be used again. The upper timing chain cover is removed by removing the engine cover and air filter housing, the battery and battery tray. Relax the right front wheel bolts, lift the front of the car and place it firmly on jackstands with the wheels blocked on the other end and remove the right front wheel. Secondly, take off the under vehicle splash shield, empty the coolant in the cooling system and take off the coolant reservoir. Disconnect the vacuum hose with the vacuum pump and the coolant hoses with the thermostat housing and withdraw the coolant pipe out of the thermostat housing by lifting the retaining clip and pulling the pipe out. Unweld the engine coolant temperature switch, loosen the thermostat housing with fasteners and then loosen the thermostat housing. Install a work in a diagonal manner, take off the upper timing chain cover with fasteners attached, and pry the end off the Cylinder Head. To install, remove all sealant from the mating surfaces, install the cover within four minutes of applying a 118-inch (3 mm) bead of RTV sealant, screw the bolts in a diagonal pattern to a required torque, install a new cover oil seal, and test and adjust the time of the valve. Removal of the camshaft chain cover seal: To get it out of the camshaft cover, it is necessary to remove the timing chain cover at first then tear the seal out of the camshaft cover at the back using a socket or a tube and push the new one in place and perform this by putting the cover on a flat surface lest it is damaged. In the case of the camshaft timing chain and tensioner, care should be taken, as the timing system is a bit complicated, and it is better to contact a specialist in case of doubts. To start with, disconnect the upper timing chain cover and valve cover, and lock the crankshaft at TDC with cylinder no. 5 and place the camshaft holding tool. Tensioner the timing chain piston and insert a pin to keep it in the compressed state, and then loosen the exhaust camshaft sprocket and intake camshaft adjuster sprocket. Install the whole tensioner assembly, chain guide and tensioner guide off the dowels on the cylinder head, but do not take out the pin that secures the tensioner piston. Take out the tensioner gasket and strainer, then take out the timing chain of the housing and note the direction the timing chain was turned in case it is required to be reused. To install, loop the camshaft timing chain on the double sprocket, place the chain guide and tensioner guide into place on the cylinder head dowels, move the tensioner strainer into place, and place the tensioner gasket and assembly to the cylinder head dowels, and tighten the fastener to the required specifications. Install the intake camshaft adjuster sprocker and loop the timing chain over sprocker and the exhaust camshaft sprocker and loosely tighten the sprocket mounting insert by hand. Take out the pin of the tensioner and push the piston forward to connect with the chain guide, change the time of the valve, and install it in the same order as the pin was removed.

    The oil pump cannot be serviced and have to be replaced in case of an issue. Start with taking away the engine and disconnecting the transmission with the engine. Then remove the upper oil pan and oil pick-up tube and then Crankshaft front oil seal flange. Slacken camshaft sprockets and take off the control housing. Compression of the oil pump timing chain tensioner piston with a screwdriver and fixing it with a pin or some other tool. Loosen mounting fastener of tensioner and move tensioner assembly, chain guide, and tensioner guide down the dowels on cylinder block without scraping off the pin used to fit tensioner piston. When in possession of the oil pump drive sprocket, loosen the sprocket retaining bolt after which the sprocket and chain are removed. Then remove oil pump with fasteners, oil pump and O-ring and then place a new O-ring in its place. To install, clamp a crankshaft in TDC position, screw a new O-ring into the pump and screw the retaining fasteners. Install the sprocket retaining bolt, tighten it and place the oil pump sprocket on the pump facing outwards. Slide the oil pump bolts and then align the oil pump sprocket to the crankshaft sprocket by means of a special alignment tool, with special shims in place. Install the tool to the crankshaft and screw the tool mounting nuts. Move the oil pump sprocket to the tool, so that it in contact with the magnets, which should be clean. Take out the crankshaft locking pin and push the crankshaft into the front holding it with a shim or screwdriver. Gently press the oil pump body to the direction of the oil pump chain and see to the retaining bolts that they are fastened to the torque as required. Once again lock the crankshaft in the TDC position and take out the alignment tool. When installing a new pump, fill the new pump by use of the pick-up tube hole, when rotating the oil pump sprocket. Install the oil pump chain on the sprockets and make sure that it operates between three sprockets straight. Install the upper oil pan, chain guide, tensioner guide and tensioner assembly on the dowels mounted on the cylinder block and tighten the tensioner fastener. Lastly, unplug the pin of the tensioner and unplug the piston to connect the chain guide and reverse the order of the installation.
