The way to remove the wheel cover is to loosen the driveaxle/hub bolt when the vehicle is on the wheels and also loosen the wheel bolts. Check the rear wheels, use the parking brake, lift up the front of the car and set it on jackstands and then take off the front wheel. The second step is to take away the driveaxle/hub bolt and ABS wheel speed sensor. Take off the brake caliper without the hose and take off the brake disc leaving the caliper attached to the coil spring by wire or string so that it does not fall over by the hose. Disattach the steering knuckle of the tie-rod end, lower balljoints, and upper
Control Arms. Gently draw the hub assembly outwards pushing the driveaxle off the hub, and with a light faced hammer may be required to tap the CV joint out, or with a puller may be needed to loosen a stubborn one, without overextending the inner CV joint. To install it, grease the splines on the driveaxle with a multi-purpose grease and insert the knuckle/hub assembly and connect it with the driveaxle stub shaft, and attach a new driveaxle/hub bolt but not by tightening. Install the upper control arms to the knuckle, pinch bolt and a new nut, and then tighten the nut to the recommended fine. Attach the lower arms of control and the knuckle together, fit new nuts and tighten them to the torque. Connect the tie-rod end to the steering knuckle, and screw in the retaining bolt, clamp bolt and a new clamp bolt nut, and screw these fasteners to the required values of torque. Attach the caliper and brake disc, and insert caliper mounting bracket bolts and caliper guide pin to the torque values. Lastly, attach the ABS wheel speed sensor, the wheel, bring the vehicle to the ground and screw the driveaxle/hub bolt and wheel bolts to the required torque.
