    Disconnect the electrical connector from the oil level thermal sensor, remove the oil pan bolts in reverse order of the tightening sequence, and use a gasket scraper to separate the lower oil pan from the upper pan, tapping it gently if needed. Remove the oil baffle mounting bolts and the oil baffle, replacing it with a new one after the lower oil pan is removed.
