How to remove the intake duct resonator and air filter box on 2005 Volkswagen Passat?

Take out the intake duct resonator screws and air filter cover. Unscrew electric connectors and pull out the wiring harness. In DOHC V6 models, the purge valve should be removed. Disconnect duct air intake and secondary air injection pump hose when fitted. Take the assembly and housing out, and re-fit, in the opposite order.
