How to replace the Door Lock and Door Lock Cylinder on 2005 Volkswagen Passat?

In order to change the latch of an Audi A4, take off the door trim, watershield and the window regulator carrier. Unscrew the parts of the lock mechanism, and vacuum hose, then take the lock out. In the case of Volkswagen Passat, loosen the door trim, window regulator, and latch. Installation procedures in reverse.
