How to replace the Tail Light housing for fender mounted and trunk mounted configurations on 2017 Volkswagen Jetta?

For fender mounted taillight housings, open trunk access door, disconnect wiring, remove fasteners and housing. Non-LED units contain two bulbs,push tabs and twist out. For trunk mounted housings, pry off trim and access panel, disconnect wiring, remove fasteners; press release tabs to detach its three bulbs. Reinstall in reverse.
