Opens the hood and the front bumper cover (unless it is necessary). Unhook the hood latch cable, unscrew fasteners and take the latch assembly out. Unconnect the release cable and switch, then change the parts onto the new latch and then reverse the process. In the case of support struts, unscrew and screw back in.
