How to remove and install a shift knob on 2019 Volkswagen Golf R?

In order to disarm the shift knob, put the lever in Drive. In the case of side-button knobs, pull the button out and fasten. Take off the shift boot, detach any securing sleeve or cut off clamps. Uninstall- Install in reverse order and be sure to fix buttons. Lastly, screw the knob or put in a clamp.
