How to replace the rear shock absorbers on 2019 Volkswagen GTI?

Loosen the bolts on the rear wheel, and chock the front wheels. Raise the rear on jackstands and remove the rear wheel. Support the lower control arm or coil spring pocket if necessary. Remove and replace the shock absorber and tighten the upper bolts, and then the lower. Repeat for the other side and reinstall wheels and lower the vehicle.
