The hazard-warning switch, the
Headlight, and the parking light assembly on the switch panel on the left section of the assembly perform the flasher function and can be tested and replaced in case of necessity. Under normal conditions one can hear a sound that resembles a clicking noise when the turn signal is on; but when the turn signal indicator on one side of the vehicle is flashing at a much higher rate than usual; it is indicative of an incorrect turn signal bulb. When the two turn signals do not blink, it could be caused by a broken or damaged fuse, faulty flasher unit switch or loose or open connection. One can easily check the fuse box and see whether a turn signal fuse has been blown, and one should also check the wiring and see whether it is short before replacing the fuse. In case the flasher switch is eliminated as the issue, the turn signal component of the multi-function switch is also to be checked.
