Then take off the two fasteners at the bottom of the lower trim panel which has 8 pillars and remove the panel. Take out the belt anchor fastener and loosen the anchor out of the body. Following a small screwdriver, open the wire retainer, disconnect the electrical connector with the belt module, and remove the belt retractor fastener on the bottom of the 8-pillar and the belt tensioner. Unscrew the belt guide fasteners of the 8-pillar, loosen the guide and loosen the belt pivoting guide fastener of the height adjuster, then loosen the belt. Installation is the opposite of dismantling so that the belt is not twisted prior to attaching the lower side of the seat mount. To replace the belt latches, one has to remove the front seat and then loosen the latch fastener and the latch under the seat, and to install the belt latch, one has to do the same, but in reverse. In the case of rear seat belts, disconnect negative battery cable, undo the seat and disassemble lower anchor point fastener and end of belt. Installation Reimbursement Firm: Take away the C-pillar trim and rear parcel shelf trim in sedan models, and inside the rear luggage compartment, remove the trim and loosen the belt retractor fastener, and slides the tensioner assembly back, up, and out. Open the retainer (yellow) with a small screwdriver and unplug the electrical connector of the belt module. Installation is the opposite of dismantling so that the belt is not twisted prior to attaching the lower side of the seat mount. In case of replacing latch of a belt, the seat cushion and back can be removed and the latch fastener and the latch out of the floorpan can be removed, and the installation is the same as the removal except not to twist the belt, then the lower mount side can be installed.
