In the year 2010 and models before, the door trim panel and door skin should be removed first; then the fasteners of side impact protection bar should be removed. Unscrew the door window glass clamp in order to loosen the window glass of the door. Later, loosen the window regulator screws, and remove the regulator and power window motor together, being careful not to leave the electrical power connection of the power window motor unbroken. To install, fixed the regulator brackets and mounting plate, install the window glass and fasten the clamp fasteners. Install the side impact protection bar, screw the bolts to the necessary torque and then replace the door outer skin and the door trim panel. In the 2011 models, you could begin by removing the door trim panel and the window glass, the power window motor fasteners, electrical connectors and unplugging the motor. Unscrew the hooks on the cable reel and slide it into the door and remove the two regulator frame mounting nuts using the access holes at the bottom of the door forcing the bottom of the regulator frame into the door. To access the window regulator and window glass as an assembly, loosen the top two regulator frame mounting nuts and slide them towards the openings and push them into the door. To install, position the window regulator and reel through the door opening connecting the upper mounting nuts and inserting the lower studs through the lower opening. Install the cable reel by putting the guides on the cable reel through the door panel and hooking the cable reel to the hook reversely. In the case of the window motor that has control module, take out the door trim panel, and apply adhesive tape to keep the glass in place with the door completely closed. Delicately strip the electric connectors on the motor with a screwdriver and un screw the mounting fasteners to pull out the motor inclusive of the control module. To install, screw the motor onto the mounting plate and screw together the fasteners by hand, re-attach the electrical connectors, remove the tape and move the window to align the splines between the motor and cable drum. Lastly, screw the motor mounting screws into place, raise and lower the window 2 times to its limits to normalize it and activate the safety pinch/roll-back feature, and reinstall the door trim panel.
