How to remove and install the axle shaft in the rear axle assembly on 2001 Volkswagen Cabrio?

In order to disassemble the rear axle assembly loosen wheel bolts, jack-up the back and strip away the wheels. Unplug parking brake cables and ABS sensors and follow brake lines and disconnect them. Use a jack to bear the axle and strip away mounting bolts as well as lower the assembly. To install, do the reverse, in order to secure everything.
