How to remove and install the intake manifold for single-point fuel injection on 2002 Volkswagen Cabrio?

In order to access the intake manifold, disconnect the battery, coolant drain, and throttle. Unscrew coolant hose and brake booster vacuum hose. Break the wiring connection, loosen and take off the manifold. To install, clean-up surfaces, install a new gasket and reattach everything firmly.
