How to remove and reinstall the intake manifold for multi-point fuel injection on 2001 Volkswagen Cabrio?

In order to disassemble the intake manifold, depressurize the fuel system, disconnect battery, and pull off throttle body. Unplug hoses and wiring, and disintegrate the parts of the manifold. Then loosen the fuel rail, injectors and lift up the manifold. To install, reverse the procedure, but with new gaskets and leak checking.
