How to properly install a new Rack and Pinion Boot on a tie-rod end on 2002 Volkswagen Cabrio?

Take the tie-rod away and label the position of the boot. Unscrew the clamp and push away the boot. Wipe the tie-rod and housing, apply grease to inner balljoint. Install the new boot and align with the new clamps and fix with new clamps. Lastly, re-fit the tie-rod end.
