How to remove and install the front axle shaft for the front and rear drive axle on 2004 Volkswagen Passat?

To take out the front driveaxle, loosen the bolts, hoist the vehicle and take off the wheel. Dislodge the inner CV joint and hold the driveaxle. Disengage the outer joint with the hub and then connect the new driveaxle, making sure that all are fitting into position. Repeat these steps with the rear driveaxle when necessary.
