    A: Replacement of a damaged compressor is accompanied with replacement of the orifice tube and accumulator. Release the AC system, prop the car and detach the parts required to gain access. Unscrew disconnect connections and take compressor off. Use the same volume of new refrigerant oil to fill the new compressor, evacuate the system, recharge it and leak test it.
