How to remove and install a tie rod end on 2005 Volkswagen Passat?

To take off the wheel, loosen the bolts, place the vehicle up on jackstands and tighten it. Loosen the tie-rod end jam nut and next free up the tie-rod end. To install it, thread jam nut and tie-rod end, fit it to steering knuckle and tighten all bolts to required torque.
