How to remove the front and rear bumpers on 2005 Volkswagen Passat?

Removing the front bumper, securing the vehicle, opening the hood, and removing the splash shield. Take screws out of wheel wells, folding grilles, and foglights out (as there are). In case of rear bumpers, take out the screws in the wheel wells, trunk area. The opposite of removal is installation.
