How to replace the rear shock absorbers on 2005 Volkswagen Passat?

Unscrew the bolts on the rear wheels, chock the front wheels and place the rear up on jackstands. Take out the back tire and stand the axle. Disassemble the shock absorber, mount the new shock absorber, screw the bolts to a certain amount of torque. Do the same with the other side then replace the wheels and drop the car.
