In order to change the lower oil pan, secure the vehicle, empty the oil, and diagonally remove fasteners. Wipe down surfaces, use RTV sealant and place pan, then diagonally tighten bolts. Removal steps must be followed in a reverse fashion with proper curing of time before oil is added. Inspect following engine running.
