How to replace the rear shock absorbers on 2008 Volkswagen Rabbit?

Unscrew the back wheel bolts and chock the front ones. Lift the rear using jackstands and then remove the rear wheel. Lift the lower control arm or coil spring pocket, take out and put in shock absorber but first tighten the upper bolts. Remove and replace on the other side, and then install the wheels, re-lower the vehicle.
