How to remove and install an exhaust manifold on 2014 Volkswagen Jetta?

In order to take off the exhaust manifold, lift the vehicle and prop it. Wet the heat shield clips and bolts with penetrate oil after which the shield is removed. Unhook the exhaust pipe and oxygen sensor and take off the manifold and the gasket. Check damage, clean, fit new studs and gasket, fitting in phases.
