Some of the systems require re-learning after removal of the battery. To begin with, remove a negative cable. Take out the trim panel on the control assembly, screws and disconnect electrical connectors. In case of flexible shafts, take out the glove box and support fasteners and disconnect the flexible shaft. Elimination is deinstallation that is the opposite of installing.
