How to replace the blower motor and blower motor resistor on Volkswagen Jetta?

The blower control module is fitted as part of the blower motor and cannot be changed independently. First of all, take the trim panel off of under the glove box by removing the fasteners on the trim panel. The second step is to disconnect the electrical connector with the blower motor. Draw the locking tab of the blower motor downwards, turn the assembly counterclockwise, and pull out the blower motor, it can be important to note that some models can be secured by a retaining screw which must be removed before the housing can turn. To install, unwind the step back process by turning the blower housing until it meets the stop.
