  • Q: How to remove and install the ignition coil on Volkswagen Cabrio?
    A:
Removal of the ignition coil requires first finding it on the firewall of all models. Start by un-hooking the battery negative wire and make sure that it is not touching the terminal and that you have the appropriate activation code to the anti-theft system in the stereo system in case it has one. The second step is to remove coil wire off the ignition coil and secondly remove the primary lower voltage electrical connector off the ignition coil. Lastly, take off mounting screws and the ignition coil. Installation involves the following steps in reverse order.
