The next thing to do is to take out the steering wheel, always place the front wheels at the straight position and unlock the steering lock by inserting the ignition key and then detach the cable at the negative end of the battery, you must have the right activation code to any anti-theft stereo system. Once removed, turn the contact unit ring a little bit so that the wiring connector is at the bottom as a means of locking into place in the central position. To install in a model that does not have an airbag, follow the order of the steps of the removal operation in reverse, matching the marks with those made earlier, screwing the steering wheel retaining nut with the recommended torque, and connecting the negative battery cable again. When using an airbag model, the first step is to install the wheel making sure the wiring connector is properly aligned, the retaining nut is installed and tightened, the steering column shrouds with firmly tightened screws are installed and the airbag unit installed after which the negative battery cable is reconnected.
