In order to take off the wiper motor, first disconnect the battery negative terminal with the proper activation code of an anti-theft system. Then, take off the wiper arms, and unclip the rubber seal close to the top of the firewall of the engine compartment. Additionally, unscrew the screws of the fastener screws of the windshield wiper motor trim cover, remove the fasteners, and take off the two halves of the trim cover off the windshield. Uncouple the wiring connector with the wiper motor and unscrew the wiring off the holding clips. Unscrew and unbolt the three holding nuts or bolts and manoeuvre the motor and linkage assembly out of position retrieving washers and spacers and checking the mounting rubbers to see whether they are intact. Should it be necessary, indicate the position of the motor shaft and arm of linkage, unscrew the retaining nut on the motor spindle, disengage the wiper linkage and remove the three motor retaining bolts to detach the motor and the linkage. To install, screw the motor and the linkage together, tighten the retaining bolts firmly and position the linkage arm on the motor spindle based on the marks made previously. Install the mounting rubbers, reposition the motor assembly, place the spacers and washers and tighten the mounting nuts or bolts. Reattach the wiring connector and fit it in the retaining clips, fit the wiper motor trim covers and lock them using their clips then re-fitting the rubber seal to the firewall and the wiper arms.
