Liftgate Open, unscrew the trim panel/ grab handle fastening bolt at the top of the middle bottom. Using just enough force to get through the spring clips, then delete the screws on each side, take the bottom section of the trim panel off the liftgate. Unattach the rear window opening upper part of the trim panel. Unconnect the wiring with the parts of the liftgate, and can also observe where the wires are routed and attached. Disconnect the line connector of the liftgate of the central locking vacuum hose. Draw a line to connect the liftgate and the hinges using a felt tip pen. Detach the liftgate strut with the help of some assistance to aid the liftgate. Unscrew and take out the liftgate-to-hinge attaching bolts, and then lift the liftgate off the vehicle. The opposite of removal is installation: it is necessary to make sure that the liftgate is placed in the right position, and then the hinge bolts must be fully tightened. The closed position of the liftgate can be adjusted by changing the position of the rubber buffers at the upper and the lower sides.
