Secondly, hang the hinge-to-hood nuts and lift off the hood, and the reverse is also true. Adjustment would require fore and aft and side to side movement of the hood in relation to the hinge plates after loosening the nuts. Loosen the nuts and position the hood in the right position slowly by slowly then clamp the hinge nuts and lower the hood carefully to ensure that the position is right. Turn the hood bumpers in or out to make the hood lie flat with the fenders when it is closed and tilt the safety latch assembly up-and-down and side-to-side after loosening the nuts. Lastly, screw in or out the radiator support screws at the ends of the radiator to adjust the buffers.
