How to remove and reinstall the intake manifold for V6 engines on 2004 Volkswagen Passat?

Take out the engine cover and empty the coolant. Disconnect throttle cable, throttle body and ignition coil pack. Disassemble the fuel rail and injectors, and the EGR valve on the SOHC engines. Take away the intake assembly, wipe surfaces and fit new gaskets. Have parts re-assembled, throttle operation checked, and leak test.
