In order to empty the exhaust manifold, elevate the vehicle and use a tie-up. Wet the heat shield nuts using penetrating oil and then take off the shield. Unscrew the exhaust pipe and oxygen sensor and take away the manifold and the old gasket. Check damage, wash surfaces, and weld a new gasket and studs and firmly tighten them.
