How to remove and install the blower motor and its control module on Volkswagen Rabbit?

The blower control module is actually a part of the blower motor which cannot be replaced on its own. Start by taking out the fasteners of the trim panel and the trim panel under the glove box. The second step is to remove the electrical connector of the blower motor. Draw the locking tab at the blower motor down, rotate blower motor assembly against the clock, remove the blower motor. Note that certain models can contain a retaining screw which must be removed prior to the housing rotating. Installation The opposite of removal; turn the blower house until it reaches the stop.
