How to remove and install the window motor and window regulator on Volkswagen Jetta?

This is done to the front and rear window regulator/motor. In order to take off the window regulator, remove the door trim panel and remove the door window glass. remove the electrical connector and remove the power window motor. Unscrew the tabs on the reel of cable and insert the reel into the door. Peel away the access flaps and take out the window regulator mounting nuts and push the regulator sections into the door. To install, screw the motor onto the mounting plate and screw together the fasteners by hand, re-attach the electrical connectors, remove the tape and move the window to align the splines between the motor and cable drum. Lastly, screw the motor mounting screws into place, raise and lower the window 2 times to its limits to normalize it and activate the safety pinch/roll-back feature, and reinstall the door trim panel.
