To fit in a new lock cylinder, one must first remove the lock cylinder cover on the outside door handle and the lock cylinder. Unlock the door of the driver, disassemble the rubber access plug, the locking bolt and loosen the retaining bolt of the lock cylinder then unlock the lock cylinder body within the door. On the outside handle, the entire handle should be pulled towards the back of the door until the release mechanism is disconnected and the entire handle pulled out with an electrical connector being disconnected in case it is present.
