Lift the front of the car and place it on jackstands. Working underneath the car, take out the lower splash shield underneath the engine. Install radiator support panel in service position, it is important to note that the front of the engine is limited in accessibility and it will be required to remove the front bumper and place the radiator support panel as far as possible so as to be able to remove the surrounding parts. Take out the serpentine drivebelts. Loosen the bolts on the front of the crankshaft pulley and remove it off the engine. In case you are undertaking other operations on removing the crankshaft pulley, loosen the drive sprocket retaining bolt, and then loosen the crankshaft pulley. Removing this bolt is not advisable, provided you get a new one because it is not recommended to use what you have. When installing, make sure that the crankshaft drive sprocket bolt is tightened to a given specified torque and rotation angle. Install the crankshaft pulley/balancer on the crankshaft drive sprocket and orientate the mounting holes, the pulley fits only in a single orientation. Attach the pulley assembly bolts and screw them to the required torque. All the other installation processes are opposite to uninstallation.
