Unscrew the lug nuts, lift up the vehicle and place it into jackstands then detach the wheel. Then loosen the tie-rod end and jam nut. Take a pair of pliers, remove the outer steering gear boot clamp, which is fastened to the clamps in the form of springs and easily released. Use diagonal cutters to cut off the inner boot clamp and roll off the boot. Tape the threads and serrations on the end of the steering rod before putting on the new boot, this ensures that the small end of the new boot is not damaged by wrapping it in a tape. Install new clamps and put new boot in the steering gear until it slides into the steering rod groove. Once the tape is removed, install the tie-rod end. Lastly: install the lug nuts and the wheel, lower the vehicle and tighten the lug nuts to the required torque.
