To eliminate the stabilizer bar connecting link on models with Plus suspension firmly press the parking brake, jack up the front of the car and hold it on axle stands. Unscrew and unattach the nut that attaches the connecting link of the
Control Arm and loosen the link of the arm. Unscrew the shank of the upper balljoint of the stabilizer bar out of the vehicle and the link out of the upper balljoint. Ensure that all the balljoints move in all directions, and that the boots do not have any wear and tear, and replace them where required. In models having base suspension, proceed as before, after which the nut and washer that clamp the connecting link of the control arm together should be loosened and removed, returning the lower mounting rubber. Unscrew the connection between the stabilizer bar and the control arm, and take the stabilizer bar out and examine the mounting rubbers, repairing them as necessary. To install on models that have Plus suspension, screw the upper balljoint into the stabilizer bar and firmly screwed up, install the lower retaining nut and lower the car. To base suspend, grease the connecting link rubber with liquid soap, place upper mounting rubber, conical surface to the control arm and position the link and fit the lower mounting rubber, conical surface to the control arm. Lastly, fit the washer and the connecting link retaining nut and screw it to the appropriate torque level and lower the vehicle.
