The regulator assembly must be removed to remove the window winder motor. Then take off two small Torx-headed screws that hold the motor, and apply them to hold the bottomplate to the regulator assembly. Then loosen the retaining screws remaining and the five larger Torx-headed retaining screws, to detach the motor and the regulator, making sure to retrieve the shim, but leaving the baseplate on the regulator. Wipe the motor assembly during this process. To install a new motor, begin by removing the fitting cover and first of all ensure the parts of the motor drive gears are well oiled and dust free. Make sure that the regulator and baseplate are clean, next place the shim on the motor shaft and make sure that the motor is centered properly on the regulator. Install the retaining bolts of the motor loosely, and replace the two bolts holding the baseplate and connect them to the motor. After the bolts have been placed loosely, attach the bigger bolts firmly in the mentioned order afterward the smaller bolts that will hold the retaining made. Lastly, fit the regulator assembly again.
